Day 01: Arrival at Dimapur Airport - Kohima
Arrive at DimapurAirport. Met on arrival and drive (70km/2hrs) to Kohima. Kohima is the capital of Nagaland and also the hill station which is situated at an altitude of 1444 meters above sea level. Overnight in Kohima.
Day 02: Kohima
After morning breakfast, take a sightseeing tour of Khonoma village, an Angami tribal village, about 20 kms. Towards the west of Kohima. The Khonoma village has its own traditions of valor and courage. The history reveals that Khonoma provided protection to several villages in good old days. The village gate tells the story of the British infiltration into Naga Hills. Afternoon visit state Museum treasures rare collection of articles of different tribes which speak about the history and tradition of the Nagas. The war cemetery contains graves of the 1200 British and Indian Soldiers who died in 1944 in the Battle of Kohima in World War Two. This was the beginning of what the Japanese thought would be their defeat of India. However, this 64-day battle proved to be a turning point as it was the first defeat of the Japanese by the British. The Naga people aided the British and Indian soldiers in any way they could to ensure defeat, such as acting as guides to the land, porters and combatants. Evening visit local market where Naga women selling different types of local vegetables, fruits, eatable reptiles etc. and preparation for trek. Overnight in Kohima.
Day 03: Kohima - Zakhma - Dzukou
Morning after breakfast drive (22 km) to Zakhama Checkpost. The trek follows a Jeepable road for first 2 km. and then trek steeply to the ridge top. From ridge descend to Dzukou Valley.
Day 04: Dzukou Valley
Explore the Valley. Dzukou is known for its bio-diversity. During summer many varieties of flowers sprout along the stream passing through the valley. In monsoon, whole valley is full of flowers like Lillies, Euphorbias and hundreds of other flowers. Rhododendrons of different colors adorn the surrounding hills. Enjoy picnic lunch in the far end of valley. Return to Trekkers Hut for overnight stay.
Day 05: Dzukou - Viswema - Japfu Base
Morning after breakfast start return trek towards ridge over Viswema village. From ridge descent steeply to road below. From road drive to Viswema village and trek further to base of Japfu base.
Day 06: Japfu Base - Japfu Peak - Kohima
Very early morning start climbing to Japfu Peak. At 3048 mt. this offers splendid view of surrounding valley including Dzukou Valley. You can also see the tallest Rhododendron tree in world (109 feet) in Japfu range. After spending some time return to Viswema village and drive to Kohima.
Day 07: Kohima - Dimapur Airport – Delhi / Major Cities of India
Morning after breakfast transfer to Dimapur Airport towards Delhi / Major Cities of India, tour end.

-For Sikkim - Foreign Nationals must obtain Inner Line Permit (ILP) to visit Sikkim in some places.
-For Indian Tourist - In Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram & Nagaland required Inner Line Permit to entry respective states.
