Day 01: Arrival Guwahati Airport – Guwahati City
Meeting and assistance on arrival at Guwahati Airport, our representative welcomes and escorts and would hand over the documents and brief the tour programme to you. Drive to Guwahati City (22km/4hrs) by a private car and transfer to the hotel, whilst the room keys and check-in is organized. Guwahti is a capital of Assam and also known as Gateway of North East India. After refreshment visit Kamakya temple and world smallest River Island Umananda. Overnight at Guwahati.
Day 02: Guwahati - Shillong
After breakfast, drive to Shillong (120km/3hrs). Shillong is the capital of misty Meghalaya also called Scotland of the East. After that we will do seight seeing in and around Shillong. We can visit Shillong Peak, Beautiful Nohkalikai and Elephant water fall and Don Bosco Museum and also visit sale emporium, enjoy the Archery competition and visit Police Bazaar with its large display of merchandise including handicrafts and Handlooms, etc. Overnight at Shillong
Day 03: Shillong – Cherajunjee – Shillong
After breakfast drive to Cherrapunjee (60km/2hrs) the wettest place in the world. Whole day explore the natural scenic beauty of cherrapunjee. From Cherrapunjee we enjoy the view of Bangladesh. And also explore the Mowaiw caves which we can cross from one point to another point. We can visit the seven sister water fall, which means the seven sister of North East States – Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland and Tripura. Overnight at Shillong
Day 04: Shillong – Tezpur
After breakfast drive to Tezpur (280km/6hrs). Enroute cross River Brahmaputra, which is the second longest bridge in India. Check in Hotel. Evening visit Aagni Garh, View of River Brahmaputra etc. Overnight at Tezpur.
Day 05: Tezpur – Dirang
After breakfast, drive to Dirang (210km/6hrs). Enroute visit Tipi orchid centre, a glass house with over 7500 orchids and Sherdupkens tribal villages. Overnight at Dirang.
Day 06: Dirang – Tawang
After breakfast drive to Sinuous road to Tawang (170km/6hrs) passes through the dragon gates on the awesome heights of the great Sela pass ( 13,714 ft.) and visit Jaswant garh located here is a memorial to the brave soldier who strongly handedly tried to hold of the approaching Chinese from the pass during the 1962 Chinese war. Overnight at Tawang.
Day 07: Tawang
Full day explore in and around Tawang. We visit Tawang Monastery which is more than 350years old and panorami background is eye catching. It is inhabited by Monks who belongs to the Gelupa sect of the Mahayana school of Buddhism. In the afternoon visit Urgelling Monastry this is also associated with the birth of the sixth Dalai Lama. Of the oldest Ani Gompa (Nunneries) is the Brahma Dungchung Ani Gompa located about twelve kilometer from Tawang commissioned Karchen Veshi Gelek in 1595 AD. The Gyanganga Ani Gompa is about five kilometer from Tawang and has more than hundreds Nun living there. And also visit Tawang Museum, Sale Emporium and War Memorial of 1962 war between India and China. Evening free for shopping at Tawang local market. Overnight at Tawang.
Day 08: Tawang - Bomdilla
After breakfast drive to Bomdila (220km/7hrs). Afternoon visit Rabggaling Gontse Gompa, upper Gonpa and thupchob Gatselung Gonpa and Museum and Sale Emporium. Evening visit local market. Overnight at Bomdila.
Day 09: Bomdila
After breakfast visit upper Gompa, locally known as Gonpatse Gompa, built by previous Rev. Gonpatse Rimpoche and the new gompa is build by the present Rev. Gonpatse Rimpoche, the 15 recantation of Tsona Gonpatse of Tiber, Tsona is a place in Tibet. After that drive to Tongri village, where we can explore the Serdukpen tribes. Serdukpen people built the house with using the Neil and they have their own tradition, culture, custom and ornament. Again we can vist Chilipam village, which is very popular for the serdukpen Monastry. Overnight at Bomdila
Day 10: Bomdila – Kaziranga
This day we will drive to next destination to Kaziranga National Park (270km6hrs). This Park is located on the South bank of the Brahmaputra and cover the area of 340 sq kms; it is Home of Great Indian One horn Rhinoceros. Tigers are of also present in sizable numbers. Other attractions include the wild buffalo, magnificent swamp deer, hog deer, wild boar, Hoolak gibbon and Capped Langur etc. Among the birds, the Crested Serpent Eagle is common, also the Pallas Fishing eagle, Grey Headed Fishing Eagle, Crane, Great Adjutant Stork, Bengal Floricab, Bar Headed Goose, Whistling Teal and Pelican can be seen in the wild. Afternoon visit the Tea Garden and Adivashi tribal villages. Overnight at Kaziranga.
Day 11: Kaziranga National Park
Full day inside the National park for game viewing to watch the great Indian one horn Rhino. Early morning Elephant ride. After morning breakfast Jeep Safari in Central Zone. Afternoon again Jeep Safari in Western Zone. at Kaziranga.
Day 12: Kaziranga – Majuli
Today we visit the world largest river island of Majuli 40km/1hrs & 2hrs on ferry. This, in the middle of the Brahmaputra located, River Island is the largest of its kind. On the island you will find 22 satras, important Hindu monasteries and centers for Assamese art. Majuli, the world largest in habitant River Island in world. These islands cover the area of more than 800 sq.km. situated in the north east part of India ( Assam), famous for culture of Assamese and the tribes like , Mishing, Deori, Kachari. These monasteries are satras of neo-vaishnavisum flow, the major Hindu movement in Assam. By ferry simple stabbing us on the Brahmaputra, a trip of 1 ½ hours sailing. Overnight at Majuli.
Day 13: Majuli
Majuli, the biggest river island, lap Kamalabari Satra and Auniati Satra, centers of Vaishnavite culture. Early morning we visit the satras which are praying in very unique. Afternoon visit Deori and Mishing tribal villages of their tradition, custom and their living style. Evening enjoy the traditional cultural display by tribal local people. Overnight at Majuli.
Day 14: Majuli - Sibsagar - Dibrugarh
After breakfast drive to Sibsagar (90km/2hrs & 1½hrs in ferry ride). Enroute visit the old capital of Ahoms who ruled Assam for 600 years before the arrival of the British into these parts. There are a number of old monuments built by them, the most significant being the huge man made tank “Sibsagar”from which the town has got its name. There is “Rang Ghar” the two storied amphitheatre built to enjoy games, sports, dance and music. The other interesting places are “Kareng Ghar”, “Talatal Ghar”, and “Shiva Dol”. Evening drive to Dibrugarh (80km/1 ½ hrs). Overnight in Dibruharh.
Day 15: Dibrugarh – Delhi / Major Cities of India
Breakfast in hotel and transfer to Dibrugarh Airport (18Km/0.40hrs) towards Delhi / Major Cities of India, tour end.
