Day 01: Arrival at Dimapur Airport - Kohima
Arrive at DimapurAirport. Met on arrival and drive (70km/2hrs) to Kohima. Kohima is the capital of Nagaland and also the hill station which is situated at an altitude of 1444 meters above sea level. Overnight in Kohima.

Day 02: Kohima
After morning breakfast, take a sightseeing tour of Khonoma village, an Angami tribal village, about 20 kms. Towards the west of Kohima. The Khonoma village has its own traditions of valor and courage. The history reveals that Khonoma provided protection to several villages in good old days. The village gate tells the story of the British infiltration into Naga Hills. Afternoon visit state Museum treasures rare collection of articles of different tribes which speak about the history and tradition of the Nagas.
The war cemetery contains graves of the 1200 British and Indian Soldiers who died in 1944 in the Battle of Kohima in World War Two. This was the beginning of what the Japanese thought would be their defeat of India. However, this 64-day battle proved to be a turning point as it was the first defeat of the Japanese by the British. The Naga people aided the British and Indian soldiers in any way they could to ensure defeat, such as acting as guides to the land, porters and combatants. Evening visit local market where Naga women selling different types of local vegetables, fruits, eatable reptiles etc. Overnight in Kohima.

Day 03: Kohima - Wokha - Mokokchung
Drive Mokokchung (1325 mt) - the center of Ao Tribe. Wokha is the land of Lotha Naga tribe; visit Longsa Village, which is inhabited by the Lotha tribe. Here Longzu (monoliths) are erected that remind of the merits of their ancestors, continue drive to Mokokchung. Overnight in Mokokchung.

Day 04: Mokokchung
After breakfast, take a sightseeing tour of Longkhum village - a vanguard village of the days of head hunting is situated at an altitude of 1846metres and is 17km from the Mokokchung town. The Aos have a belief that Longkhum is the resting place for the dead on their onward journey to paradise. Afternoon visit Ungma village – which is one of the biggest Ao village and Momokchuket village also. Overnight in Mokokchung.

Day 05: Mokokchung - Tuensang
After breakfast we will drive to Tuensang (1371 mt). Tuensang is the home of the Chang, Yimchunger, Khiamungan, Sangtam and Phom Naga tribe. In the afternoon visit Tuensang Village. Overnight at Tuensang.

Day 06: Tuensang - Kuthur - Noklak - Pengsa:
Depart for Pengshar . Enroute stop at Noklak village which is famous for Slate roof houses and bamboo handicrafts. Later drive to Pangsa which is on the border of India and Myanmar and a designated international trading centre.

Day 07: Pangsa - Chandang Sadal - Kiphire:
Drive to Kiphire via Nokyan which is another beautiful village interesting to see, especially the wooden utensils made locally. Proceed further to Kiphine.

Day 08: Kiphire - Pongru:
Morning visit Kiphire village and different tribal houses around Kiphre. Later drive to Pongru. Pongru is the base for trekking to Saramati Peak.

Day 09: Pongru – Salumi - Thanamir:
Drive to Salumi which is famous for its Natural Caves. It is also base for excursion to Fakim Wildlife Sanctuary. From Salumi.

Day 10: Thanamir - Water Point:
A 4-6 hours walk will take you to Water Point (10 KM) where you will stay for night in camps.

Day 11: Water point - Mt. Saramati Peak - Water Point:
Full day excursion to Mt. Saramati peak (3841 M). The trek to peak is moderate and at two places its very steep requiring some mountaineering skills.

Day 12: Water Point - Thanamir - Salumi - Pongru:
Trek down to Salumi village via Thanamir. From here drive to Pongru village.

Day 13: Pongru - Kohima
Drive back to Kohima. Enroute stop at Jesumi (in Manipur) where Indian Army stopped Japanese Army’s advance for 5 days before the British Army arrived. On arrival check-into hotel for overnight stay.

Day 14: Kohima - Dimapur Airport – Delhi / Major Cities of India
Morning after breakfast transfer to Dimapur Airport towards Delhi / Major Cities of India, tour end.

Entry Formalities to North East India:

-Foreign tourists are no needing any Protected Area Permit in Assam, Meghalaya and Tripura
-Foreign tourists are exempted from Protected Area Permit in Manipur, Mizoram and Nagaland.
-For Arunachal Pradesh - Foreign Tourists required a Protected Area Permit (PAP) in a group of two or more persons can obtain PAP for a period of thirty days.
Foreign Tourist visiting Arunachal Pradesh shall have to Pay Indian Rupee 1800/- per person as Royalty to the Government of Arunachal Pradesh and application for PAP are to be applied through Local Tour Operators only.
-For Sikkim - Foreign Nationals must obtain Inner Line Permit (ILP) to visit Sikkim in some places.
-For Indian Tourist - In Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram & Nagaland required Inner Line Permit to entry respective states.

Cancellation should be received in writing document by fax or email. If a tour participant cancels his / her reservation the following fees will be applies:
-20 days before arrival date no cancellation fees.
-15 - 20 days before arrival date 25% of total bill will be charged as cancellation fees.
-10 - 15 days before arrival date 50% of total bill will be charged as cancellation fees.
-05 - 10 days before arrival date 50% of total bill will be charged as cancellation fees.
-01 - 05 days before arrival date 100% of total bill will be charged as cancellation fees.
