31st December – Day 01: Delhi / Major Cities of India – Dibrugarh
Meeting and assistance on arrival at Dibrugarh Airport. Dibrugarh is known as the tea capital of Assam because of the numerous tea estates that surrounds this town. Drive to Dibrugarh city (18km / ½ hrs) by a private car and transfer to the hotel, whilst the room keys and check-in is organized. If time permits visit Assam Tea Garden. Overnight in Dibrugarh.
01st January – Day 02: Dibrugarh – Pasighat
After breakfast, we will drive to Pasighat (210km/5hrs &1hrs in Ferry). Enroute cross one of the biggest rivers in the world - the Brahmaputra by ferry is a unique experience as we can only gauge the vastness of the river once we are on the ferry. Our destination across the river is the town of Pasighat. Overnight in Pasighat.
02nd January – Day 03: Pasighat
After breakfast, we explore the Adi-Miyong and Adi-Bori tribal villages. These tribes are also believed and pray to Donyi-Polo i.e. Sun & Moon, which are a God and Goddess. Their house, language, dress, ornament and living system is different from rest of the people. In the surroundings of Pasighat we visit some Mismhi villages. These are splendid villages with large houses of bamboo. The older men have frequently still traditional head with full feathers hang those were used at the time of war sheathing. On the local market of Pasighat you find all kinds of unknown vegetable and fruit types and also naga-peper, hottest pepper in the world! Overnight in Pasighat.
03rd January – Day 04: Pasighat – Aalo
Today drive to Aalo (120km/4hrs). We travel by splendid jungle landscape full sumptuous vegetation with on the context the hum of the jungle. Perhaps we see also the mithun, semi-wild animal, a holy animal for the peoples of Arunachal, what them does not prevent at each festival at least slaughter of mithun. Mithun is a symbol of states animal. Afternoon visit District Museum and Sale Emporium, after that we visit Darka Galo village which is the biggest village in along. Overnight in Aalo.
04th January – Day 05: Aalo
After breakfast, take your whole day will be in Aalo, visiting villages of the Galo like Kabu, Podha, Paya and Jirdin etc. Take a walk from Kabu village to Paya village – a very scenic walk along the River yango. Galo people built a house on the stone with using nail and use of bamboo, wood, rope and leaf. Evening vist local market where tribal women sell vegetable, ornament and traditional dress etc. These tribes are also believed and pray to Donyi-Polo i.e. Sun & Moon, which are a God and Goddess. Overnight in Aalo.
05th January – Day 06: Aalo – Daporijo
Morning drive to Daporijo (170km/6hrs). Enroute we visit some villages, mainly of the Galo tribe which this region is populated. Daporijo is Nyishi and Tagin tribes, the most important occupants of the area. They inhabit in upper subansiri district. Evening we can visit the Si-Donyi festival groung. Overnight in Daporijo.
06th January – Day 07: Daporijo “Si-Donyi Festival”
Whole day we can celebrate Si-Donyi festival of Tagin tribe. This is very popular festival in Upper Subansiri district, Arunachal Pradesh. It is celebrated on large scale by Tagin tribe and also from the surroundings celebrates the Tagin settlement Area. They believe god and goddess in nature and suggest god is Doyni – Polo (Sun – Moon). Tagin tribe stand confessed because of the maintenance of an admirable social entity under their members by their characteristic socio-religious rituals in daily living. In this festival Mithun which is sacrifice to make God Happy and wellbeing for the society / whole Tagin Community. Overnight in Daporijo.
7th January - Day 08: Daporijo – Ziro
Today drive by a green tropical landscape to Ziro (170km/6hrs). Enroute we visit some Hill Miri villages. Sometimes there old bamboo bridges must become crossed to reach the villages. The women of the nyishi tribe carry large round ear bels. Ziro has located at the altitude of 5700 feet. The culture of the Apatani differs rather from the other tribes in Arunachal Pradesh. The Apatani to believe that they descend directly of Abotani, first people. Overnight in Ziro.
8th January - Day 09: Ziro
Full day explore Apatani tribal villages, like Hong - Dutta – Hija – Bulla -Hari etc. The uniqueness of Apatani tribe is tattooing on women face and its nose plug. Here we get a close look at the art of bamboo, cane and weaving. Apatanis are also believed in Donyi-Polo i.e. Sun and the moon as a god and have traditional altar in front of house made up of bamboo and leave. Overnight in Ziro.
09th January – Day 10: Ziro – Nameri
After breakfast, drive to Nameri (330km/8hrs). Evening leisure. Overnight in Nameri.
10th January – Day 11: Nameri - Bana
This day we will drive to next destination to Bana (140km/5hrs). Palazi and Bana is a village and settle by Aka tribe. Afternoon visit the Sarok festival ground. Evening visit Aka tribe Villages. Overnight in Bana.
11th January – Day 12: Bana “Sarok Festival”
Whole day we can celebrate Sarok festival of Aka tribe. It is celebrated by Aka tribe and also from the surroundings celebrates the Aka settlement Area. They believe god and goddess in nature). They are animist which are using alter at the time of ritual. In this festival Mithun which is sacrifice to make God for welfare of the whole society. Overnight in Bana.
12th January – Day 13: Bomdila – Kaziranga
This day we will drive to the next destination ie Kaziranga National Park (220km/6hrs). This Park is located on the South bank of the Brahmaputra and covers an area of 340 sq kms; it is Home to Great Indian One horn Rhinoceros. Tigers are of also present in sizable numbers however because of the area size of the park sightings are rare. Other attractions include the wild buffalo, magnificent swamp deer, hog deer, wild boar, Hoolak gibbon and Capped Langur etc. Among the birds, the Crested Serpent Eagle is common, also the Pallas Fishing eagle, Grey Headed Fishing Eagle, Crane, Great Adjutant Stork, Bengal Floricab, Bar Headed Goose, Whistling Teal and Pelican can be seen in the wild. Afternoon visit the Tea Garden and Adivashi tribal villages. Overnight in Kaziranga.
13th January – Day 14: Kaziranga
Full day inside the National park for game viewing to watch the great Indian one horn Rhino. Early morning Elephant ride. After morning breakfast Jeep Safari in Central Zone. Afternoon again Jeep Safari in Western Zone in Kaziranga.
14th January – Day 15: Kaziranga – Guwahati
After breakfast drive to Guwahati (230Km/5hrs). Afternoon visit Kamakhya Temple. The Kamakhya temple is one of the most revered shrines of the Hindu faith; temple is located on Neelachal Hill 8km from town and world smallest River Island in the world. Overnight in Guwahati.
15th January – Day 16: Guwahati – Guwahati Airport – Delhi / Major Cities of India
Breakfast at hotel and transfer to Guwahati Airport towards Delhi / Major Cities of India,tour end.
